Welcome to Malpas & District JFC - Season 2021/22

Updated 02 March 2022

Hello Everyone! Preparations for the new season are underway with some significant differences!

Although the UK Government has relaxed its COVID-19 measures since July 2021, the priority of the Junior Football Club remains player and family safety and comprehensive guidance and policy frameworks remain in place for everyone's wellbeing. This is now being operated on a RAG sliding scale, which will follow future Government advice / legislation.  The aim is to be vigilant but proportionate. I

In line with the announcement from UK Government that it is implementing "Plan B", the Club has upgraded its RAG scale to AMBER. This means that certain mitigation measures are mandatory such as social distancing on sidelines, Symptom Self Assessment (reporting and recording), PPE for provision of First Aid and masks must be worn in the cases of shared transport. The full risk assessment can be viewed on the Policies page.

For 20/21 Season the following teams are available:
U11
U13 Reds
U13 Blacks
U14 Girls
U15s

Malpas & District JFC is pleased to continue its access to facilities at Malpas & District Sports Club, Heber Leisure and Farndon Community Field. In line with new guidance all three venues are operating the QR Code to support the NHS Track & Trace App.

All individuals aged 16 or over should "check-in" using the app when attending these venues. Details for players under 16 are recorded manually by the Coaches to comply with Track & Trace requirements.
Medical Screening in Junior Football

The FA require all clubs to maintain awareness about the impact of Asthma on young players in the game. At the start of each season Coaches will seek confirmation about the presence / absence of Asthma (and related conditions) within their squads and will act on this information to ensure inhalers are available as per our policy
On 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came into force. The Club is required to hold and process some personal information relating to its players, parents and coaches in order to provide a safe, effective and compliant Football Club environment. You can view the Club's revised Privacy Notice and Data Protection Policy here, which explain how the personal data you provide to us is managed.
