Welcome to Malpas & District JFC - Season 2022/23
Updated 19 August 2022
Hello Everyone! Preparations for the new season are underway with some significant differences!
Although the UK Government has relaxed its COVID-19 measures since July 2021, the priority of the Junior Football Club remains player and family safety and comprehensive guidance and policy frameworks remain in place for everyone's wellbeing. The Club Risk Assessment is now being operated on a RAG sliding scale, which will follow future Government advice / legislation. The aim is to be vigilant but proportionate.
For 22/23 Season the following teams are available:
U12
U14
U16
Malpas & District JFC is pleased to continue its access to facilities at Malpas & District Sports Club, Heber Leisure and Farndon Community Field.
MALPAS MINIS
From May to July 2022 the Club ran a number of well attended sessions for players at U4-U8. There were over 40 interested players who took part over the period, with sessions run at Malpas and Farndon. The Club would love to sustain activity for these age groups and look to enter new teams in the Mini Soccer section of the Chester & District Junior Football League but to do this we need volunteers to come forward and take on the running of the sessions / teams. The summer sessions were put on by Coaches from the U13 and U15s - unfortunately once the new season starts these coaches will need to focus on their own age groups, but are willing to support any new parents into the roles of coaches, assistants, volunteers, etc.
